Becoming a stylist — and ultimately a salon owner — has been my dream for as long as I can remember. Even as a five-year-old, I was captivated by the beauty industry. The creativity, the transformation, the sense of connection.

Born and raised on the Eastern Shore, I left in 2001 to attend cosmetology school and began my career as a stylist in Ocean City, MD. Although that chapter was invaluable, my heart eventually brought me back to Chestertown, where I had the privilege of working with Brian and Gunther at Har Spas. Their mentorship shaped me deeply and helped guide the path that followed. 

In 2009, I took a leap of faith and opened Flow Salon. Just three years later, we had outgrown our original space and moved into our current location — doubling in size and expanding our offerings to include spa services. With that evolution, Flow Salon became Flow Salonspa. What began as a dream has grown into a thriving, collaborative environment where beauty, wellness, and artistry come together.  

Today, my focus is on leading Flow Salonspa with intention — building a strong, supported team, creating a culture of education and excellence, and ensuring every guest who walks through our doors feels cared for from the inside out. Empowering my team and nurturing the growth of this business has become my greatest professional passion. 

Outside the salonspa, my heart belongs to my family — my husband, Marshall, and our daughter, Neve. When I’m not at Flow, you’ll find me on the water, cooking, enjoying music, or spending time with my family and our Staffy pup, Teak.

I was born in Mexico and raised on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. At a very young age I learned that hard work and dedication were key to reaching my goals. I started pursuing my career as a stylist in 2013 by attending the Aveda Institute in Washington, D.C. Graduating top in my class, I was selected to travel to Nashville to compete in Aveda's top stylist competition, which was an incredible experience.

Continued education is very important to me. Some certifications and classes I have under my belt are Brazilian Blowout certified, Xtreme Lash certified, tape-in extension certified, and several other advanced cutting and coloring classes through Aveda. I enjoy working on different haircuts and different hair coloring techniques, ranging from extreme color corrections to lowlighting for dimension, natural low-maintenance highlighting, beautiful hair painting, and rich dimensional brunettes.

I pride myself on my excellent customer service and professionalism and find extreme satisfaction in creating the perfect cut or color for each guest that sits in my chair.

When I am not at Flow Salonspa, you can find me spending time with my Frenchie Bentley, traveling, exercising, or watching football.

I am originally from Baltimore but moved to the Eastern Shore in my teens and now call this awesome place home. I am a hairstylist who loves making people feel more confident than ever!

I started my journey in the beauty industry as an assistant in 2005 and knew this was what I was meant to do. After graduating, I started my career and now have 12 years under my belt. Education is a top priority of mine. Taking several classes a year keeps me feeling inspired, creative, and up to date with the latest trends. Throughout my career I've also earned additional advanced certifications in tape-in hair extensions and Xtreme eyelash extensions. A little extra length and fullness never hurts, right?

As a mom of two, I understand why a high-maintenance style doesn't always work for everyone. I love to customize the perfect look for everyone who sits in my chair. Whether you are into low maintenance or high fashion, I'll deliver! I enjoy creating transformative cuts and color while paying close attention and consideration to the integrity of the hair. So if you are ready for a big change, I'll get you there while keeping your hair at its best!

I have two kids who are my heart, Dylan and Ella, and I'm happily married to my husband, Patrick. I love to go shopping when I can and enjoy spending time with my family and Goldendoodle Callie.

I grew up in the Air Force and traveled a lot, but one thing that has stayed constant is my passion to be in the hair industry.

I have been a stylist for over 20 years. Just over 10 years ago I became a certified hair color educator for Aveda. With them I had the opportunity to work backstage for Aveda Master Jam New York and be one of the colorists for a men's collection in Aveda Master Jam Atlantis.

I would say my passion is definitely hair color. I love being able to transform my guests hair for them no matter the season. I feel lucky to have the guests I do, and they voted me as best fashion stylist in the WhatsUp Eastern Shore Magazine 2 years in a row.

When I am not at work, you can find me spending time with my two amazing kids, Rissa and Gavin, and if the weather is nice, hitting golf balls together.

I am from St. Michaels, MD. For the last 10 years I've been commuting to Chestertown to be a part of team Flow Salonspa, my second family.

I studied cosmetology at the Aveda Institute in Washington, D.C. My passion for the beauty industry started at a young age, as my mother and many other family members are cosmetologists and barbers.

Connecting with my guests is my passion. I love all things to do with color, in particular balayage and blonding.

I am a mom to two beautiful boys named Jesse and Vincente. In my spare time you can find me enjoying life with my family.

I graduated from the Paul Mitchell School of Cosmetology in 2011 and have been perfecting my trade as a stylist ever since.

As a military brat, I grew up around the world but settled in Kent County with my family in 2006.

I now hold my senior cosmetology license, which complements my advanced skills and experience. My favorite part of being a stylist is connecting with my guests to help create the look they are envisioning and educating them to ensure their desired looks are obtainable at home.

When I am not at Flow Salonspa, I love spending time outdoors and painting.

My name is Alexis Procopio. I've had a love for the beauty industry for as long as I can remember. I attended The Temple School in Annapolis, where I received my cosmetology license and made the move to Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania, to start my career. I stayed there for a couple of years but decided to move back to Maryland to be closer to family.

I specialize in all blonding techniques and long hair but also enjoy doing nails, lash lifts and tints, and waxing.

When I am not at work, you can find me spending time with my family, my husband Robert, and my pup Remi. I enjoy cooking, and my favorite season is fall. I love crisp weather with a hot chai tea in hand.

My goal is to provide the best services and experiences to my guests to ensure they look and feel beautiful!​

I am a proud native of Kent County. In 2009 I moved to Orlando, Florida, where I attended the Aveda Institute, earning dual licensing in massage therapy and aesthetics.

My passion is to help heal people from the inside out. Self-care is a MUST! With over 12 years of working on developing different modalities into one very unique style, I've found this is the best way to offer the best results for each individual. My approach integrates Swedish, deep tissue, and trigger point style massage with connective tissue release, as well as weaving in my knowledge of energy healing.

I've spent a lot of time learning and getting certified in various facial treatments and peels. My facial offerings are completely customized based on your skin's needs.

I offer full-body waxing and manicure and pedicure services as well.

I love swimming, yoga, boating, and enjoying life!

I've always dreamed of finding a profession where I can help people relieve stress, recharge, and relax, and I've found it as a massage therapist.

I strongly believe that taking care of our well-being is critical in order to live the best and most fulfilling life as possible. Self-care is something we should all make a priority!

My name is Lindsey Shane, and I am a DEDICATED ESTHETICIAN originally from the mountain state of West Virginia. I moved to Delaware in May of 2024 after marrying my husband, Hunter. My passion for skincare began with my own personal struggle with acne and self-confidence. I find purpose in helping others discover their own confidence while addressing their concerns with an inclusive, customized approach. Whether you come in to focus on a specific skin concern or simply for relaxation, my goal is to stand beside you on your skincare journey, providing knowledge and support so you can be your most confident self. Since acquiring my esthetician license, I have continued to expand my practice and education by attending postgraduate training in D.C., completing online classes, and attending seminars in NYC. A few of the treatments I specialize in are dermaplaning, hydrojelly, microdermabrasion, nano-infusion, brow tints, lash lifts and tints, chemical peels, acne treatments, and more. I can’t wait to meet YOU!

Salonspa Coordinator

I am the salon and spa coordinator here at Flow Salonspa. I joined the team 5 years ago, and this place quickly became like my second home.

It is very important to me that every experience you have at Flow Salonspa is great. I love seeing guests leave happy and feeling refreshed, relaxed, and beautiful. Ensuring your time with us is exactly what you expect each and every time is a top priority to me.
